The concept of class, division, and the silo mentality of different cultures, countries and religions boggles my mind.
No... I am not suggesting a sense of sameness among all but an appreciation and acceptance of difference.
It is horrific what Haiti has been through in the past week, but it also saddens my heart even more that it took a natural disaster to bring the world's attention and care to Haiti that has been struggling like many other places in the world for years.
Just know this - help out where you can, do your part, research, pay attention to mother earth and all it's children.
